Indeed there is a ring, and a proposal:)

"The best part of the day is when you and me become we". And indeed that is what Erick and I are about to do...is say "I DO". Friday March 18, 2011 was a BIG BIG day for Erick and I. I flew into SLC that day to visit him for his birthday weekend, when i got there he picked me up and we went to park city for dinner and then we were to go to Heber to meet up with his family for dessert. So we got to park city and went to the most DELICIOUS restaurant ever called Chimiyo. It was a super super nice place and the food was to die for! I got mustard seed encrusted salmon with black bean, avocado mash potatoes and Erick got pan seared scallops with sweet potatoes! yum yum:) After dinner we walked around some of the stores and enjoyed the scenery...well i was not knowing that Erick was super nervous! He then told me that we should go because they were expecting us around 7:15 for the dessert party. We then drove to Heber where Allie, Ericks sisters in-laws live. they live in this huge beautiful home that is right against the mountains and looks out over all of Heber. It was unbelievable absolutely amazing. As we were pulling into the drive way there were about 50 elk all around the house it was the neatest thing to see. When we got to the house we went to the front door and Erick told me to open it but i was to scared...haha.. so he opened it and the first thing out of my mouth was.. " I think we are in the wrong house" until i looked down and saw the path of rose petals!! The path lead to a table for two with chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of sparkling cider over an ice bath. We both sat down and he started to tell me Sweet Nothings, then he got up and put both hands on my knee and got down on one knee and proposed to me! I SAID YES. It was so so amazing. One thing i didnt share was the fact that i was crying pretty hard and so Erick had to grab my hand to put it on my finger:) haha After all this happened 3 car loads of family came to celebrate with us! it was wonderful to be able to celebrate with my new family. I am truly blessed to not only have an AMAZING Fiance but an AMAZING family!  The Date is set for August the 13th and will be in Denver Colorado!
