Pack your bags, were going to JAMAICA

Today was a memorable day:) Erick called me and told me to pack my bags because we are going to Jamaica for our honeymoon! WOW im so excited and cant wait. Its going to be so so fun:) And guess what's even better... he did it all BY HIMSELF! Erick your amazing!

There is a ring, and a proposal!

"The best part of the day is when you and me become we", and indeed that is what Erick and I are about to do...is to say, "I DO"!  Friday, March 18th, 2011 was a BIG, BIG day for Erick and I. I flew into SLC that day to visit him for his birthday weekend. When I arrived he picked me up and we went straight to Park City for dinner. He took me to the most DELICIOUS restaurant ever called Chimiyo. It was a super nice place and the food was to die for! I had the mustard seedencrusted salmon with black bean, avocado mashed potatoes and Erick had the pan seared scallops with sweet potatoes! yum yum:) After dinner we walked around some of the stores and enjoyed the scenery. I was not aware that Erick was super nervous! We were going to Heber to meet up with his family for dessert around 7:15. We jumped in the car and headed that way. Ericks brother-in-law's parents live there in this huge, beautiful home that is right against the mountains and looks out over all of Heber. It was unbelievable! Absolutely amazing! As we were pulling into the driveway there were about fifty elk grazing around the house. It was the neatest thing to see. When we got to the house we went to the front door and Erick told me to open it but I was too scared...haha.. so he opened it and the first thing out of my mouth was, " I think we are in the wrong house" until I looked down and saw the path of rose petals!! The path led to a table set for two withchocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of sparkling cider chilling in an ice bucket. We sat down and he started to tell me "Sweet Nothings", he then got down on one knee and proposed to me! I said, "YES"!!! It was so, so amazing. One thing I didn't share was the fact that I was crying pretty hard so Erick had to grab my hand to put the ring on my finger:) haha After all this happened three car loads of family drove up to celebrate with us! It was wonderful to be able to celebrate with my new family. I am truly blessed to not only have an AMAZING fiance but an AMAZING family!  The date is set for August 13th and will be in Denver, Colorado! Keep looking for updates on life for me and Erick thus far!!!
